Good news, everyone. Dealing with Life is finally FINALLY back from its hiatus. I’ve been anticipating its return, but I’ve ran into a few bumps that slowed me down. You can check out the comic right here.
And then there’s the bad news. As I mentioned last week, my new laptop is having wi-fi issues to where I can’t use the internet, let alone use OneDrive to transfer my files. So I decided to take my laptop to tech support. Because of this, I have no choice but to make my updates a little different from what I had planned during the buildup.
- New comics will be posted on Wednesdays at 8 pm EST.
- They’ll be in black and white meaning no greys will be added.
This isn’t me giving up nor going on another hiatus. This is me taking it slow so I don’t push myself too hard with this return. Keep in mind that this is temporary. If I get my laptop back and the problem is resolved, I’ll gladly change it to its originally schedule. Thanks again for understanding.
I didn’t want to come to this unfortunate news. Dealing with Life will have to be delayed again! The reason for this: my new laptop. To make the story short, I’m having wi-fi issues with my new laptop (3 months old btw) and this has been causing me nothing but stress since the middle of March. So to save myself from pushing too hard on this return, I’ll be changing the return date to next Friday (April 6). That way, I’ll be finish with what needs to be done and have my laptop checked at the end of the week.
I apologize for not having anything ready in time and thank you for understanding.
As the title says.
Dealing with Life will return on Wednesday March 28. Along with the return, the site that hosts my comic will have some changes as well.
I want to keep this short and sweet so I can focus on working on next month’s return. I’ll have more information somewhere around the second week of March.
Let’s get this out of the way. 2017 was miserable and boring year for me. I was still job hunting and slacked off on learning how to drive due to constant fear of my past lessons. The only that kept me going was making webcomics and drawing in my sketch book. Towards the end of the year, I finally got a full time job and because of this, things started to look up as the year came to a close. Now that 2017 is over, I want to focus on personal goals I want to achieve in 2018.
What I want to achieve in 2018:
Get a driver’s license.
This was supposed to be my goal of 2017, but once I got a job, I had to cancel all plans of attending driving school on the weekdays.
Draw in my sketchbook more often.
I took a break around November because I had to focus on my job. Now that I’m getting use to my new work area, I want to be able to squeeze in some of my free time to draw.
Rebrand my site(s).
I want to make some moderate changes on both my blog site and portfolio site. Once I get my new laptop, I want to jump back into digital art ASAP.
Continue providing webcomics.
Dealing with Life will return this year. More info to come.
Branch out of my comfort zone and interact with artists.
I’ve been trying to do this in 2017, but lack the courage to communicate with others or had my mind on other things that stopped me from doing it. This time, I want to be able to interact with other artists I follow, whether it’s public or low-key.
Here’s hoping that things will get better for me in 2018. With that said, happy new year.
First off, new Dealing with Life is up on Comic Fury. It’s a day late and here’s the reason why.
At my job, I was assigned to move to a different building because one of my coworkers resigned and I was put through training to know my way around the building and how things work. Because of this, I was put off on following my schedule back at home with this comic. And speaking of comic…
I have to be honest. Keeping up with a schedule while working a 9 to 5 is not doable at this moment for me. That is why I’ve decided to go back on my hiatus from uploading comics in Comicfury. No, I am not quitting. I just need time to adjust with my work schedule and find a way to fit my hobby in and out of work.
And in other news, I’ve decided to hide my portfolio site. I’ve been doing some thinking and I would like to rebrand the site. Something in relation to my love for comics, logo designs, and character concept art. I’ll try and whip something up.
It’s getting pretty chilly out there.

This was suppose to be up by Wednesday, but I got caught up with work and had to delay it. Better late than never.
